The opportunity to move up to a new home at Beaufort Vale in Bristol has prompted a significant rise in buyers looking to settle at the impressive development, according to David Wilson Homes. But it says that with just three homes left potential buyers will need to move quickly to secure their dream home.

The developer is celebrating the success of a special weekend aimed at helping people seize the opportunity of owning a dream home with its innovative part exchange scheme. And the event proved popular with potential buyers from across the region.

“The logistics and effort involved in selling your own home is enough to put many people off moving up the property ladder,” said sales director, Russell Glimsted. “David Wilson Homes considers buying your existing property through our famous part-exchange service – something we have been doing since pioneering the scheme more than 30 years ago. Our latest event, promoting the benefits of the scheme, has sparked a tremendous amount of interest from people looking to settle in the Bristol area.

“Buyers are attracted to the scheme because it offers a fair market value for their current home and no estate agents’ fees to pay. And they can make a move knowing there is no risk of the dreaded housebuying chain breaking. It is almost like part-exchanging a car. If we buy your existing home, you will be free to buy one of ours.”

The process includes valuations from two independent surveyors, upon which David Wilson Homes can base a fair offer.

“We are a guaranteed cash buyer, there’s no chain, no agents’ fees or last minute price haggling,” said Russell.

The scheme has proved particularly popular with buyers looking to own one of the development’s eye-catching five bedroom Griffith homes. The Griffith, from £339,950, is a beautiful house providing a unique space in which to live. Its many features include a single detached garage, utility room, study, dining room and a spacious kitchen and family breakfast room.

Perfect for families and those looking for a smart home with extra space, the Griffith also offers a downstairs cloakroom, an en-suite facility to the master bedroom and an impressive dressing room.

“We are delighted with the response we’ve had from buyers looking to secure one of these impressive new homes,” said Russell. “And this recent part exchange weekend has increased interest still further – with many buyers realising that it is actually possible to move to a Griffith without worrying about selling their own home first.”

Situated close to the countryside with some of the homes overlooking Siston Common, Beaufort Vale is also ideally located for popular schools, local shops and the A4174 ring road providing links to nearby amenities, the M32 and Bristol city centre.
