Polden Grange is hot property in Street

The pre-launch of one of the area’s most exciting developments has triggered an impressive response from potential buyers, according to David Wilson Homes.

Polden Grange, in Street, is causing a stir among buyers looking to settle in the village – and the developer is hugely encouraged by the positive reaction.

“This new development is prompting interest from local people and those from further afield,” said Russell Glimstead, sales director for David Wilson Homes. “We are very much looking forward to the opening the doors to this site and showing buyers just how much Polden Grange has to offer.”

Visitors to Polden Grange which is expected to open in October will be greeted by a superb selection of two, three and four bedroom homes – including the rare commodity of two and three bedroom bungalows.

“The bungalows are provoking a great deal of attention because they are very unusual in a new development – and I know they won’t be around for long,” said Russell. “Anyone interested in these fantastic homes should register their interest now.”

Street is situated on the Somerset levels, close to the scenic Polden Hills. The River Brue is to the north of the village and the famous Glastonbury Tor is just two miles south west.

The village is known for its connection with Clarks after the Quaker family founded its shoe empire here in 1825. The area provides all local amenities and has excellent transport links – with the towns and cities of Bristol, Bath, Bridgwater, Taunton and Yeovil all close by.
