MasterChef finalists pop up at Meza

The hottest tables in town are being offered at Meza in Soho in the form of a MasterChef ‘pop up’ restaurant, to coincide with this year’s London Restaurant Festival (4-18 October).

Fans of the hugely popular BBC One series will be able to taste some of the most memorable dishes cooked by the three finalists of this year’s MasterChef  -  winner Dhruv Baker and Tim Kinnaird and Alex Rushmer. 

Dhruv said: “We’re so excited that we’ve got the opportunity to work together again.  When the series ended, a ‘pop up’ was what we talked about doing and it’s fantastic that it’s come together with Meza.”

Alex said: “It’s been nearly a year since we cooked together during the filming for the series and I can’t wait to get back into the kitchen with Dhruv and Tim. We’ve learnt a lot since then and this will give us the opportunity to showcase not only our dishes from the show but what we’ve learnt in the last year.”

Tim added: “MasterChef is an extraordinary experience and since the series finished it’s been somewhat of a rollercoaster for the three of us. To be back in the kitchen together will be fantastic and cooking for the public is what it’s all about – we can’t wait!”

Dhruv will be heading up the kitchen every night (Tuesday – Saturday) with Tim and Alex joining him every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Each Tuesday and Wednesday, special guests from previous MasterChef series will join Dhruv at this exciting and ground breaking event to share their signature dishes.

Shine TV, the producers of MasterChef, has collaborated with leading restaurant group, D & D London, to provide a unique opportunity for fans of the series and any lover of good food to sample the cuisine of these talented cooks.
