Fairmont St Andrews recognised for outstanding service
Fairmont St Andrews' outstanding levels of service have once again been recognised with concierge Kevin Gordon being awarded the prestigious Golden Keys.
The honour is fitting reward for Gordon who has bestowed the highest levels of assistance to guests at the luxurious five-star resort since 2001.
Gordon said: "I am absolutely delighted to have been awarded such a prestigious honour. I will wear my golden keys with pride"
Charles Head, general manager of Fairmont St Andrews, added: "Kevin truly has earned this award and everyone at Fairmont St Andrews is thrilled to see him honoured in this way.
"It is recognition of the outstanding service he has provided our guests on an ongoing basis and represents the high standards of our entire team."
The Golden Keys award recognises five-star service and was bestowed by the Scottish Golden Keys Society, which is founding member of Les Clefs D'Or, the world's most respected professional hotel concierge association.
Gordon is the second concierge from Fairmont St Andrews to receive the accolade, following on from 2001 winner Jack Docherty.
The five-star Fairmont St Andrews resort prides itself on offering guests a first-class experience and its staff's high levels of service are par for the course at one of the country's leading destinations.
Every element of the resort has benefited significantly from a recent £17m redevelopment which included extensive improvements to its two championship golf courses - the Torrance and Kittocks courses - lavish spa complex, six dining venues, conferencing facilities and five-star hotel.
