The Granville @ Barford is to host a free Rod Stewart tribute night on Sunday 3 October. John Southern will perform a host of popular classics including Baby Jane, Da Ya Think I'm Sexy, You wear it well and Maggie May up to the recent "The Great American song book" album at the award-winning dining pub at 8:30pm. Supper, priced at just £5.00 will be available prior to the performance from 6pm – 8pm.

Rod Stewart has become one of the greatest icons of the music industry since bursting onto the scene in 1970 with his hit single "Maggie May". Almost four decades on he still performs sell out concerts and records million selling albums. John Southern has recreated that energy and stagecraft with accuracy, even the smallest of detail is covered from his hair and costume to that unique vocal sound that generations love.

John has been performing all over the UK for over 10 years. He has appeared in cabaret shows, social clubs, football stadia, an outdoor festival for 1,500 people and even travelled to Africa to perform in Zambia! The comments that follow John’s shows speak volumes about his ability such as "It’s just like being at a Rod concert", and groups of girls shouting "We love you Rod".
