I can see clearly now the rain is gone

11th October 2006 Print
Rain Clear Johnny Nash sang it, but now car care company Comma is making the classic crooner’s words come true for the UK’s motorists, with its innovative new Rain Clear Gel.

With the end of summer now fast approaching, the UK’s weather is about to take a turn for the worse, with national statistics showing that October signals the start of the country’s wettest period of the year.

But with Rain Clear applied to the windscreen, Comma is making sure that the miserable weather expected does not stop drivers seeing clearly on the road.

Using advanced glass nanotechnology, Comma has developed a product which, when applied to a windscreen, seals the microscopic pores in the glass with a super-smooth invisible barrier that helps repel rain, sleet and snow.

When precipitation hits the glass, it forms into droplets which are then simply swept away by aerodynamic windflow, improving visibility and driving safety. Because it comes as a concentrated gel, the 150ml tube will also last a long time, so it’s easy on the wallet too.
