Supertrucks wins Fleet Van Equipment Company award
Supertrucks innovative engineering and quality has been recognised with the company’s success in winning Fleet Van’s prestigious Van Equipment Company of the Year 2010 award.
Receiving the award at a ceremony in London earlier today, Peter Wright, Supertrucks’ chairman, commented, “This award means a lot to Supertrucks as it provides tangible recognition of our hard work over the 29 years the company has been in business. We have always taken great pride in our innovation and quality and it is very satisfying to see the company’s strengths rewarded in this way, it is a great morale boost to Supertrucks’ management and productions teams.”
The Fleet Van Awards judging panel of independent experts and fleet operators took into account Supertrucks’ innovation and excellence in its specialist field. Supertrucks offers the fleet sector one of the widest ranges of glass-carrying racking and other equipment.
As a leading European manufacturer in this sector, Supertrucks has developed a range of external and internal glass/window/door-carrying racking systems to fit virtually any make and model of panel van in the up to 3.5 tonne gvw sector.
In addition, Supertrucks produces coach-built bodies for the glass trade for chassis cabs in the up to 3.5 gvw sector. This production now includes a newly developed 3.5 tonne gvw low-loading coachbuilt glass carrying vehicle, which is based on a Citroen Relay or other suitable front-wheel drive cab unit. This new load-loading glass carrying van offers significant safety and productivity benefits thanks to its ease of loading/unloading.
Also, in a new development, Supertrucks is now manufacturing a streamlined ultra-low loading, high capacity van for the dry freight sector based on Citroen Relay or other suitable front-wheel drive cab units. This new Space Van, which is available in 20cu.m+ load volumes offers the lowest rear step height of any van available in the 3.5 tonne gvw sector.
