Thistle is inviting guests to join them for long, leisurely lie-ins with the launch of Lazy Sundays, a brand new package available across its hotels nationwide - allowing guests to truly maximise their weekend break away.
From just £70.50 per person*, guests can check in with Thistle on a Saturday and stay right through until Sunday evening with an extra-late check-out of 6pm at no extra charge - avoiding the usual Sunday morning rush. Guests will receive a free newspaper to read leisurely in bed and can enjoy breakfast as late as 12 noon or choose a full Sunday lunch alternative - all included within the Lazy Sundays package.
Whether you’re spending a romantic weekend away with your partner, looking for a hotel to accommodate your wedding party or taking a shopping trip away with friends, Lazy Sundays allows you to make the very most of the weekend, giving you two full days to enjoy for the price of one – allowing you more time to explore your destination city, or enjoy a rare lazy Sunday in bed!
And if you want to extend your Lazy Sunday break, you can take advantage of an extra overnight stay on the Sunday at a discounted price – from only £23.50.
Lazy Sundays are available for booking from October 4th at thistle.com/lazysundays across Thistle’s portfolio of high quality, full service hotels, based in excellent, central locations across the UK, including Edinburgh, Cardiff, Manchester, Bristol, London and Brighton.

Lazy Sunday Terms and Conditions:
- Package prices include accommodation for 2 adults sharing a standard twin/double room on a Saturday night.
- Check out by Sunday 6pm.
- Package prices includes breakfast in room 2 adults until 12pm or a two course lunch for 2 adults (either Sunday lunch or, if unavailable, 2 course from the standard restaurant or lounge menu), a free newspaper and use of the Otium club where available.
- Prices are inclusive of service and VAT at the current rate. London hotel prices are exclusive of VAT.
