Axeon engaging with customers and suppliers at EVS 25

Axeon, Europe’s largest independent lithium-ion automotive battery systems supplier, will be attending the 25th annual World Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exposition (EVS), organized by the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) in Shenzen, China, from 5th to 9th November.
As well as bringing together professionals from academia, government and industry, EVS 25 will also host many of the major global OEMs along with domestic Chinese vehicle manufacturers. Axeon, whose batteries are found in a wide range of vehicles, from superminis to supercars, will be showing off a full-size replica of one of its battery packs.
There has been significant growth in automotive battery applications in recent years and as a world-leading systems integrator, Axeon is committed to ensuring the potential of both existing and future technology is clearly understood.
Lawrence Berns, Axeon CEO, commented: “EVS 25 is an excellent opportunity for Axeon to engage with our customers and suppliers from both east and west. As a UK company, we are proud to be playing a global leadership role in the battery systems sector.”
Axeon has industry-leading R&D programmes focused on improving the commercial viability of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Cars and vans powered by Axeon have already driven around a million miles on European and US roads and are manufactured in the UK.
