Vehicle security and safety systems company Cobra has won five major accolades in the recent Mobile Electronics News annual Awards.

Cobra, which supplies a diverse range of electronic systems for both production line and aftermarket fitment, saw its Cobra Cat2 8510 immobiliser and CobraTrak First Mobile products win Gold Awards in the Best Security Immobiliser and Best Consumer Tracking device categories.

CobraTrak 5 and Rosen AV7500 scooped Silver Awards in the respective Best Security Tracking and Best Head Rest product categories, while the Cobra Cat 2-1 ADR G368 won a Bronze for Best Alarm. The awards are seen as the aftermarket industry’s Oscars, and Cobra’s five gongs reinforce why it is a major supplier to 26 car brands in the UK.

“Cobra spends a great deal of time and money investing in the development of its range of vehicle security, tracking and in-car electronics products, so it’s fantastic when this innovation is  recognised by the industry,” explained Andrew Smith, Managing Director of Cobra UK.

“All five products combine well with features already fitted as standard equipment, adding an extra level of peace of mind against theft, or in the case of the Rosen system additional entertainment for rear seat passengers. CobraTrak in particular has become the tracking system of choice in the aftermarket based on its competitive pricing and ease of installation,” he added.
