Lovell has just one home available for sale at the company’s highly popular Maes Ifor development at Taffs Well, just outside Cardiff.

Demand has been so strong that only one home is yet to be snapped up. It’s available, for a limited period only, at a great price of just £259,995. This beautifully designed four-bedroom detached property has a garage, a view of the Garth mountain and a south-facing garden.

The Welford house style’s ground-floor accommodation features the kitchen, family / dining room, spacious living room, cloakroom and hall. Upstairs is the master bedroom with en-suite and fitted wardrobe as well as three other bedrooms and the family bathroom.

Close to the capital, but with a fantastic village location, the development has proved a real winner with homebuyers, says the Lovell sales team. “People who’ve moved in tell us they adore it here,” says field sales supervisor Bernadette Vickery. “You have stunning countryside on your doorstep but at the same time, the development is very close to Cardiff, with the city centre just a five-mile drive away, or a 15-minute train journey. It’s been great to get such positive feedback from people who’ve bought homes at the development.”

Warm, energy-efficient homes
“Our last property still available for sale will make a lovely family home, and, with winter fast approaching, it will keep you warm – without sending your energy bills sky-high. As with all our properties at Maes Ifor, the house has been designed to achieve high levels of energy efficiency with excellent insulation and double glazing.”

As part of the company’s ongoing customer research, Lovell recently surveyed homebuyers for their views on energy saving. All those who completed the survey went into a prize draw. The winners, who bought their home at Maes Ifor in December 2008, were Helen Phillips and Kevin Payton. They received John Lewis vouchers. “We absolutely love it here,” says Helen. “We weren’t originally looking for a new house but as soon as we saw our home’s fantastic view of the Garth mountain, that sold it to us! The quality of the finishing is very good and while we’ve been very impressed with how warm the house has been, we haven’t faced huge fuel bills.”

Just north of Cardiff, Taffs Well nestles alongside the River Taff. The development is convenient for the A470 and about two miles from junction 32 of the M4, with Taffs Well rail station only half a mile away.

To find out more, or arrange a viewing, please visit the Maes Ifor marketing suite, off Moy Road, Taffs Well, Cardiff CF15 7AT, open from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and from noon to 5pm on Sunday.
