Ski Republic launches 'two for one' deal
For the 2010 / 11 ski season Ski Republic (ski-republic.com) is offering a free day’s ski and snowboard equipment hire for every one day booked, and the seventh day free for bookings made online, or on site in their 32 Ski Republic shops in 24 resorts in the French Alps, regardless of the resort or the time of year.
The offer brings the cost of skis, boots, poles and a helmet down to just 10 € / day, for standard sport skis of a guaranteed top brand, including Salomon, Roxy, Dynastar, Rossignol and Coreupt, and 15 € / day, main brand performance skis.
Ski Republic’s Lionel Favre, CEO and founder, said:
“Since we launched in 2007 our aim has been to offer a simple, swift, online ski rental service with guaranteed high quality ski and snowboard equipment and clean, dry ski boots, without having to queue. For too long the world’s ski resorts were dominated by ski hire companies offering old equipment, a lack of choice and poor service.
"Ski Republic has changed the face of ski equipment hire. This season we’ve taken it one further by offering two days for the price of one and prices that are less than even we were charging last season. Not only are we offering top quality skis and no-nonsense service, but all of are skis are checked after every single rental and either serviced in store or in our main servicing centre in Seez ”.
Ski Republic includes free use of a helmet with all equipment hire and insurance is available at an optional 1 euro / day for sport skis and 2 Euros for performance skis, or free for kids, covering theft, damage and cancellation.
