All-new aluminium billet compressor wheels from Turbo Dynamics

Turbo Dynamics are proud to announce the release date for the their new range of compressor wheels. These TD designed 2618-T61 Aluminium Billet MFS (Machined From Solid) Compressor Wheels are to compliment the ever growing range of bespokely designed and engineered turbocharger parts. Milled from custom forgings, their strength exceeds that which is available from typical bar-stock and also exceeds the material properties of the normal aluminium castings.

Because turbocharging is very much precision engineering, the stringent tolerances demand exact design. Peter Marsh, Managing Director, keeps strict control of the design processes. “The success of our product always relies on the close working relationship between customer and design team. TD’s ever growing and exclusive range is inspirational and keeps TD ahead of the game”, he comments.

These stronger than standard Forged Milled Compressor Wheels (FMW) provide better response and better power. They come in a range of sizes to suit different power applications. The Wheels can be used in TD’s extensive Hybrid Turbocharger Range, in new designs and is offered as an upgrade to existing Garrett Ball Bearing units.

TD’s new Compressor Wheels will be available from January 2011.
