Kazan - Where east meets west

At the heart of the river Volga and close to the Caspian Sea is Russia's third Capital, Kazan where Eastern and Western cultures merge.

The city is the capital of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan and is situated 500 miles south-east of Moscow.

 Kazan has a 1,000 year old history and is part of the newly formed 'Golden Triangle' of former Russian capitals after Moscow and St. Petersburg. Kazan boasts a UNESCO world heritage Kremlin and attracts culture seekers and adventurers looking for emerging destinations.

Host of the Youth Olympic Games in 2013 and the CIS Summit, Kazan is the up and coming destination in Russia.

For the first time, Kazan will be exhibiting independently at WTM with the intention of breaking into the UK market.
