npower extends hometeam 50 offer

npower hometeam has extended its pioneering boiler and central heating care product, hometeam 50, to any British resident , even if they are not currently an npower customer.

The change in criteria means that thousands of homeowners can take advantage of the product this winter, which has been billed as the fairest home care product, giving money back to customers if they don’t use the service.

hometeam 50 is available for both boiler care and central heating care, both working under the same principle - if the customer doesn’t call out npower’s hometeam to work on their boiler or central heating during the 12 month care plan, npower will automatically return 50% of the annual cost on their year anniversary.

In order to take advantage of the 50% No Call Out Cash Back, homeowners just need to sign up to and be receiving npower’s gas and electricity supply before the end of their 12 month agreement.

hometeam 50 also includes an annual boiler service, usually worth £74, meaning customers will get the reassurance of care for 12 months AND a service and could still receive their 50% cash back if they don’t call out npower during that year.

The change in eligibility criteria has been announced after npower recorded a 100% increase in its customers signing up to the service with weekly sales doubling since September.

hometeam 50 boiler care flexi is priced at £10.50 per month, exactly the same as British Gas’ Homecare 100 flexi product, and offers the same care – save for one important difference –50% No Call Out Cash Back.

Meanwhile, hometeam 50 central heating care is £2 cheaper a month than British Gas’s HomeCare 200 product, at £15 a month, again offering the same service with the added bonus of npower’s 50% No Call Out Cash Back.

All parts, labour and VAT are all included in the hometeam 50 membership fee.
