Taylor Wimpey’s Part Exchange helps the Jones family make an easy transition from Brussels to The Parks development of flats and houses for sale in Bracknell, Berkshire.

Trying to sell a property on the open market can be difficult enough at the best of times – so it’s never going to be easy when you live hundreds of miles away in another country.

This was exactly the dilemma faced by the Jones family when a job opportunity meant relocating from Belgium to a new property in Berkshire, with the added headache of having to find a buyer for the home they still owned in Cheshire.

Fortunately for Kathy Jones and her husband Mark, Taylor Wimpey’s Part Exchange scheme at the leading housebuilder’s The Parks development of property for sale in Bracknell Forest provided a stress-free solution to all of their problems.

The couple were offered the market value of their old property off the price of a brand new home within this sought-after new community of flats and houses in Bracknell – and with Taylor Wimpey as their guaranteed buyer, they were able to make a smooth move from Brussels with no troublesome property chain to worry about.

“Without Part Exchange, we simply wouldn’t have been able to move,” says Kathy (39). “We would have had difficulty trying to sell our home in Cheshire ourselves from Belgium, and after that there’s the uncertainty involved with being part of a property chain.

“Taylor Wimpey took away all those difficulties and allowed us to make our move on our own terms. We were also able to move exactly when we wanted to, which was important because we were anxious to be here in time for our children to begin the new school year in September.”

Kathy and Mark, who is a director in a local company, are now settling into their new four-bedroom ‘Windsor’ detached house with their two children.

They chose The Parks over a number of other new build developments in the area because of its fantastic location close to local schools and the heart of Bracknell – as well as its pleasant surroundings including 50 acres of parkland and woodland.

“It’s much leafier than everywhere else we looked at and there’s so much open space on our doorstep,” Kathy explains. “We’re also in a great location, just a short walk from the town centre and the railway station, which is really handy.

“We’re more than happy with our new home and are very pleased with the spacious three-storey layout – and the lovely open-plan kitchen and living area downstairs is ideal for our needs.”

Similar four-bedroom ‘Windsor’ townhouses are currently available to purchase at The Parks from only £464,995 – exceptional value for money in such a popular location.

This fabulous family-size property features a light and airy kitchen/dining/family room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a guest cloakroom located off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to a large lounge spanning the full depth of the property and featuring French doors to an attractive balcony, along with a bedroom, a study and a further cloakroom. The en-suite master bedroom with dressing area comfortably shares the top floor with two further double bedrooms and a main bathroom.

A selection of alternative home designs is also on sale at the development, including two-bedroom apartments from as little as £179,995, four-bedroom houses from only £369,995 and five-bedroom properties from just £479,995.

All new homes at The Parks include allocated parking and/or a garage, and each property is completed to the same high standard specification, including central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Selected larger properties can be purchased with Part Exchange, while other homebuyer incentives are available to suit first-time buyers as well those with a property to sell. Incentives can be tailored to purchasers’ individual circumstances and are subject to availability, with further details available from the Sales Executive.

Located only a mile from Bracknell town centre, The Parks is well placed for a wide selection of supermarkets and leisure amenities, including Princess Square Shopping Centre, plus a choice of cafes, bars and restaurants.

Families will appreciate that local schools have an excellent reputation, and for commuters, the railway station is a mile from the development, offering regular services to London’s Waterloo and Paddington in 60 minutes, and Reading in just 20 minutes. The M3 and M4 are accessible via the location’s good road links.

To find out more about the new homes available at The Parks, property-seekers can visit the Sales Information Centre, located off Hawk Lane, Bracknell Forest, Bracknell, and open seven days a week from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
