House hunters join Great Western experiment

Join Linden Homes as they undertake a unique marketing experiment. Forget brochures and sales patter - the leading house builder has devised a novel way to convey what living at its development at Great Western Dockyard (GWD) is like.
A real life couple will spend two days living in the show apartment at this contemporary development, as if it were their own. Watching television, cooking and sleeping; they will document their experiences in a blog at greatwesternexperiment.co.uk, which house hunters will be able to log onto to get a real taste of life at GWD and have the opportunity to interact by posing questions online.
If purchasers would rather take a first-hand look, then all they have to do is visit the development on either Friday 19th or Saturday 20th November, during opening hours, where the show apartment, couple and all, will be open for visitors to take a peek.
Kellie Risdale, sales manager for Linden Homes Western, comments: “Traditionally, house hunters have to come to the site to get a feel for it, but half an hour doesn’t always give a complete picture of what life at a development is like. Well for this weekend, all they will have to do is log on to the blog and let our couple provide a true and real account of what living at GWD is like.
“At a time when consumers are ever more cautious about how and where they spend their money, this experiment will give house hunters unique access into daily life at this development and allow them to make an informed decision.”
There’s another reason for house hunters to visit GWD on Saturday 20th November, as not only will they become part of Linden’s experiment, they will also see the much-awaited launch of the loft apartments. These six properties really are the cream of the crop in city living and with prices starting from just £295,000 for a two bedroom loft apartment you can see why interest is high.
Proudly situated on the fifth floor of ‘The Works’, these apartments feature an open plan living/kitchen area, ideal for entertaining, with two spacious bedrooms, the master benefiting from en suite facilities and a family bathroom. Two of the apartments will be dressed as view homes so you’ll really get a feel of what it could be like to live in these beautiful homes.
With two reasons why you should visit Great Western Dockyard, make sure you head to the development on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th November, open from 10am to 5pm.
