New development in Street causes a stir
Excitement is mounting among homebuyers for the official launch of the area’s newest David Wilson Homes development.
Polden Grange, in Street, is already causing a stir – and the developer is expecting a high demand from buyers when the development officially opens on Saturday 20 November.
“This new development is prompting interest from local people and those from further afield,” said David Wilson Homes sales director, Russell Glimstead. “We are thrilled to be opening the doors to Polden Grange later this month – and we have some beautiful new showhomes for potential buyers to take a closer look at too.”
Visitors to Polden Grange will be able to explore the four bedroom Chelworth with its large kitchen and breakfast area and spacious living room. The home features a study and an en suite facility to the master bedroom – as well as a useful downstairs cloakroom.
Also to be unveiled is the four bedroom Irving showhome. Its ground floor features a large living room with bay window, an open plan kitchen and breakfast room – and a utility room is provided too. There is a separate dining room with french doors to the garden. The master bedroom has an en suite and a downstairs cloakroom is also provided.
“We are also pleased to present a view home for the outstanding three bedroom Hadley design – so there will be plenty for potential buyers to see and explore when they visit us.”
Polden Grange will offer a selection of attractive two, three and four bedroom homes – including the rare commodity of two and three bedroom bungalows.
“The bungalows are provoking a great deal of attention because they are very unusual in a new development – and I know they won’t be around for long,” said Russell.
“This is a very exciting time for us. The team is standing by to make sure our potential buyers are given everything they need to find their dream home at this outstanding development. We look forward to welcoming them to the launch.”
Street is situated on the Somerset levels, close to the scenic Polden Hills. The River Brue is to the north of the village and the famous Glastonbury Tor is just two miles south west.
The village is known for its connection with Clarks after the Quaker family founded its shoe empire here in 1825. The area provides all local amenities and has excellent transport links – with the towns and cities of Bristol, Bath, Bridgwater, Taunton and Yeovil all close by.
