David Wilson to build 430 new homes in Bridgwater
David Wilson Homes South West is pleased to announce that it has exchanged contracts with Hallam Land to provide around 430 new homes at Lower Sydenham Farm in Bridgwater.
As the first phase of a 2000 unit development, the homes will form part of a major regeneration for the area and include a number of vital affordable homes, new community facilities and deliver up to 3,000 jobs. A new regional distribution centre for the supermarket giant Morrisons will offer the first opportunities for new jobs.
The delivery of the new homes has involved a number of organisations in addition to David Wilson Homes and Hallam Land including the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), Sedgemoor District Council and Yarlington Housing Group who will be responsible for the affordable housing.
The yet to be named development will offer two, three and four bedroom homes providing a wide range of accommodation for every kind of buyer. Whether you are a first time buyer, growing family or looking to downsize, you can be sure there will be something to suit.
Construction is planned to start in January 2011 with the first properties due to complete around the middle of 2011.
