Stay closer to home with Prestige Holidays

Luxury operator, Prestige Holidays is offering breaks to the Channel Islands of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm for the first time in 2011. 

The islands feature alongside its highly successful Isles of Scilly programme in its new “Closer to Home” brochure.

Holidays in Guernsey start from £347.00 per person for a three night break at the Hotel Fleur du Jardin in April, May and October including: return flights from Southampton on Flybe with island transfers and BB accommodation.

The operator has also expanded its programme to St Mary’s on the Isles of Scilly, with the addition of four guest houses and three self catering properties.

Prestige is offering six properties on Guernsey including: The Fleur de Jardin, The Farmhouse, a luxurious 14 roomed boutique hotel, and Hotel La Grande Mare which is set on Vazon Bay between a safe, sandy beach and an 18 hole par 64 golf course.

The Fermain Valley Hotel, The Bella Luce Hotel and Old Government House, the grand dame of Guernsey with its lovely mixture of old-world charm and every modern convenience, complete the collection.

On Herm, Prestige is featuring breaks at the White House Hotel from just £778.00 per person from April to October, including return flights from Southampton to Guernsey, transfers, return ferry transfers from Guernsey to Herm and four nights accommodation on half board basis.

Travellers to Sark can choose from the family owned country house Stocks Hotel and the charming La Sablonnerie hotel. A week’s stay here costs  £1,498.00 per person including flights from Southampton, all transfers and seven nights in superior room on a half board basis.

On Alderney the operator is offering the luxurious Braye Beach Hotel and Harbour Lights Hotel. A three night stay in low season at the Harbour Lights starts from £348.00 per person including flights from Southampton, transfers and three nights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis.

In addition to flights to Guernsey from Southampton, Prestige is also offering packages featuring flights from Birmingham, Bristol East Midlands, Exeter, Gatwick, Manchester, Norwich, Plymouth and Stansted airports.

New to Prestige Holidays Isles of Scilly programme are four small guest houses on St Mary’s: the Belmont and Anjeric guesthouses in Hugh Town and the Santa Maria and Auriga properties close to Porth Cressa beach. Also new on the island are the Minalto Holiday flats, the Bela Vista two bedroom luxury apartment and the little Bella studio apartment all of which are in Hugh Town.

Prestige Holidays' Isles of Scilly programme also features the islands of Tresco, Bryher and St Martins. Packages start from just £278.00 per person for a three night break at the Belmont guest house on St Mary’s with flights from Lands End and transfers.
The operator is also offering helicopter flights from Penzance to St Mary’s or Tresco, ferry from Penzance to St Mary’s and direct flights to St Mary’s from Lands End, Newquay, Exeter, Bristol and Southampton.

Other hotel accommodations featured on St Mary’s are: Old Town Inn, St Mary’s Hall, The Atlantic, Star Castle, Tregarthen’s, Schooners and Bell Rock.

In St Martins the operator offers breaks at the renowned St Martin’s on the Isle Hotel, and on Bryher at the Hell Bay hotel.
