Good neighbours love new homes in Rugby

The Kendrick and Davies families haven’t just found their ideal place to live at Taylor Wimpey’s Caldecott Manor development of flats and houses for sale in Rugby – they’ve found their perfect neighbours, too!
Living in a quiet cul-de-sac where the children can play outside safely while the grown-ups are free to enjoy a proper chat is the kind of location many parents dream of – and for two families at Taylor Wimpey’s Caldecott Manor development of property for sale in Rugby, that dream has come true.
Vicky and Guy Kendrick moved into a ‘Hatfield’ four-bedroom detached home at the development of new homes in Rugby with their five-year-old son Harry in August – and soon discovered that their neighbours would be good friends.
The Davies family had also moved in to their brand new property in Rugby right next door – and soon the children from both families were playing outside in the close. While they kept an eye on them, the parents chatted – and were soon best friends too.
Vicky said: “We all moved in at the same time and made a point of getting to know each other. Rob and Michelle next door have two daughters and they played really nicely with Harry – they hit it off straight away and were in and out of each other’s houses all the time.
“It’s lovely because we can get together and have a bottle of wine or a barbecue. The children all get on and because it’s a cul-de-sac the kids all go out on their bikes while we’re out watching them and talking. It’s great fun.”
One of the attractions of Caldecott Manor for Vicky is the close proximity of shops and leisure facilities, with a Tesco supermarket, places to eat and a bowling alley within walking distance, while Harry’s new school is just a short drive away.
The couple work for the police in Coventry, which is a straightforward commute thanks to the development’s convenient transport links.
And, having moved from a semi-detached home in Nuneaton, Vicky is delighted with her four-bedroom detached house, especially the spacious kitchen/breakfast/family room, where Harry keeps his toys and the family spend most of their time. And as Guy has two cars and a motorbike, the double garage has come in handy too!
Taylor Wimpey offers a range of incentives to help first-time buyers onto the property ladder, as well as those with an existing house to sell. Vicky and Guy, for example, were able to take advantage of Taylor Wimpey’s Part Exchange scheme. For details of all incentives please ask the Sales Executive.
