Christmas gifts: Women are still on top

9th December 2010 Print

Twenga, the most comprehensive shopping search engine, has asked British men and women when they began their Christmas shopping and how much time they intended to spend buying their Christmas gifts.

The results show that British women start their Christmas shopping well before the men, with 61% saying they start shopping before December. 45% of men, on the other hand, do wait until December before getting their Christmas shopping underway.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, 34% of British men say they only spend a few days buying gifts for their family and friends, while 33% of British women say they spend more than one week finding all the gifts they plan to give on 25th December.
