Simplyhealth opens new independent living store in Leeds

Healthcare provider Simplyhealth has opened the doors to its new independent living store in Leeds.

Offering a wide range of mobility products, daily living aids and specialist footwear, the store seeks to help Leeds residents who would like assistance to lead more independent lives.

Kevin Snowball, Managing Director of the Simplyhealth store comments: "We're really pleased to be opening our store and bringing our service to Leeds. Within the shop we will be offering specialist advice and equipment to aid individuals with activities in and outside of their home. Visitors will be able to speak to friendly and knowledgeable staff who are trained to ensure that each individual receives the product best suited to their needs.

"Our Mobility Consultants provide free home assessments for larger items including wheel chairs, power chairs and scooters. These home assessments are essential as they enable us to assess the individual in their own environment to ensure that we recommend the right product for them. We also provide a comprehensive maintenance and repairs service for all of our customers.

"Simplyhealth has had a presence in Leeds now for nearly nine years. Formerly known as the Leeds Hospital Fund, we changed our name to Simplyhealth in 2009. Through our store we hope to give the people of Leeds even greater support with their health and wellbeing."

The Leeds Simplyhealth store can be found at Riverside House, 7 Canal Wharf, Leeds, LS11 5WA. Opening times are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
