The wait is finally over; house builder Taylor Wimpey Midlands has just released for sale its biggest and most expensive apartment at Diglis Water, its NHBC award winning development in Worcester.

Plot 301, a three bedroom penthouse, is packed to the rafters with luxury fixtures and high specification finishes. Spanning an impressive 2197 sq ft, this palatial pad gives large homes in the area a serious run for their money and puts other apartments in the shade.

Priced at £549,995, this penthouse is the most desirable home at Diglis Water and at the time of going to press, the most expensive apartment on the Worcester property market.

Anne Wallace, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “It’s been a long time coming but we’re delighted that this penthouse is now on sale. Interest has been steadily building and our new show apartment has certainly given house hunters an idea of the excellent quality that they can expect.

“Yes, it’s expensive, but one lucky buyer will be getting plenty in return. Whilst all of our apartments are fantastic, plot 301 has a genuine ‘wow’ factor. It’s huge for a start and enjoys enviable views over Worcester. As you’d expect with a penthouse like this no expense has been spared; once complete it will feature top quality fixtures and fittings and precise attention to detail that will make its owner the envy of Worcester.”

This stunning home features an open plan fully integrated kitchen / dining room, separate study and a large living room with floor to ceiling glass windows enjoying spectacular views over the River Seven. The master bedroom, with dressing room and contemporary en-suite bathroom, a further two spacious bedrooms and a stylish bathroom complete the penthouse. A fantastic 73ft long balcony – perfect for enjoying the stunning views over the river towards the Malvern Hills, and for entertaining on balmy summer nights - can be accessed from the living room (where it’s 10ft wide) and all three bedrooms (where it’s 6ft wide). The penthouse also benefits from private lift access to the top floor, as well as two parking spaces.

Anne adds: “We’ve already sold three of the penthouses from the Quayside block from plan and with a list of hopeful buyers growing by the day I’d encourage those interested in finding out more to get in touch now. This is the biggest and best property on the development and there’s only one, so don’t miss your chance!”

Diglis Water, which has won an NHBC Quality Award and a Seal of Excellence Award, is situated where the Birmingham and Worcester canal meets the River Severn and has breathed new life into Worcester’s riverside. Currently available is a range of stunning waterside apartments offering views of the River Severn as well as a selection of stylish three bedroom townhouses. Prices start at £139,995 for a one bedroom apartment, from £239,995 for a four bedroom house and from £359,995 for a penthouse.
