The film takes the viewer on a tour of the stylish Broadway show home

Bracknell homebuyers can now picture themselves living in one of Redrow’s luxury new homes from the comfort of their armchair.

The housebuilder has produced a special film that is available to watch on its very own award-winning broadband television channel, Redrow.TV; giving viewers a sneak preview of its New Heritage Collection homes at Windsor Park, part of the wider Jennett’s Park venture.

This short video clip gives buyers a taste of the style and specification on offer, taking the viewer on a tour around one of the beautiful show homes to showcase the modern interiors behind the traditional exteriors.

Tonia Tyler, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said: “In our experience the internet is now the first port of call for many people searching for a new home. By giving them more to see of their chosen developments, we hope it will further tempt them to come and visit us on site.

“The film clip is just a small taster of what we have on offer at Windsor Park. Viewers are taken inside the ‘Broadway’ show home, which includes a convivial kitchen and dining room, with contemporary floor to ceiling units and top name appliances, a separate lounge with patio doors opening out onto the rear garden and three generous bedrooms, including the master with en-suite.

“The video serves as an informative guide to the stand out elements of our New Heritage Collection homes, filled with character features and inspired by the ’Arts and Crafts’ era.

“The next step for potential purchasers will then be to visit the development so they can see everything it has to offer first hand.”

Just as the Arts & Crafts movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries grew from the desire to bring back the skill and creativity of the individual craftsman and revive the simplicity and honesty in the way buildings and furnishings were made, Redrow has deliberately set out to reintroduce a high degree of individuality to the way its homes look and feel.

One of the most popular and enduring of domestic architectural styles, the Arts and Crafts’ influence can be seen in many so-called ‘character’ homes from later periods, especially the 1920s and 1930s. External features which typify the era include dropped eaves, bay windows and timber or tiled canopies over doors and windows.

A show village of four professionally decorated and furnished show homes is now open at Windsor Park, where current availability includes two, three and four-bedroom homes, priced from £174,950 to £344,950.

The masterplan for Jennett’s Park includes a country park of 91 acres and also features a doctor’s surgery, primary school and 10 play areas, giving the development a real community feel. Approximately half of the venture is set aside for open space, retained woodland and recreational areas.

Just five minutes from Bracknell and 20 minutes from Reading, the location near to the A329 Berkshire Way also provides easy access to the M3 and M4 – perfect for commuters. Direct trains from Bracknell to London Waterloo take around an hour.

For more information about the homes available, visit the sales office off Peacock Lane, Bracknell, open daily from 10am to 5.30pm, or log on to redrow.co.uk.
