Heritage offers new special services for British classic car enthusiasts British Motor Heritage Limited, of Witney, Oxfordshire, makers and suppliers of bodyshells and many other parts for popular British classic cars, is introducing a new range of services for classic enthusiasts.

For the first time, Heritage is now offering direct supply of its bodyshells to customers.
In addition, Heritage is now offering to help restorers by carrying out whatever level of preparation and assembly they require, from painting the bodyshell before delivery, right through to even a total rebuild of the customer’s car in the Heritage factory.

For people wishing to build cars for competition or track day use, Heritage now offer an even more advanced facility of seam welding and roll cage fitment during bodyshell manufacture.

Heritage managing director, John Yea, explained the thinking behind the new developments: “Heritage bodyshells are now a well-established foundation stone of the excellent parts provision enjoyed by the key British classic models. Now we are responding to changing market conditions by offering a bespoke ‘menu’.

We have all the facilities and expertise needed to carry out any of the stages of a vehicle rebuild or preparation for competition. Whatever help a customer needs, we can provide it. For example, if someone wants a Mini body painted in any colour of their choice and then mounted on new subframes and suspension to create a rolling shell, we can provide that – it makes the rebuild job much easier, especially for someone working in a small garage. At the other extreme, we could produce a turnkey MGB V8 roadster from scratch, or prepare an FIA-spec MGB race car. It really is up to the client.”
