First resident moves in at The Rock, Bury
Landmark development The Rock, Bury has its first resident – and he picked up the keys on his birthday. A special day for the development and for Tim Entwistle.
Tim had been looking in the area for his first home and checked out many options in Ramsbottom and Rossendale. But it was a recommendation of a friend that led him to his dream apartment.
“Bury was not originally the area I was looking at. I had been looking at quite a few places and a friend recommended I went down to The Rock to have a look, just to compare. I walked in and instantly thought I want one of these.”
The standard of the apartments was an instant draw “The comprehensive specification is really good. The bathroom is a big highlight and the kitchen is really impressive with everything you would want including a dishwasher, washer dryer and fridge freezer – even self-closing doors. It is a really great spec.”
One of Tim’s friends, who helped him moved in, is a contractor who has worked on many apartment developments in the past years. He confirmed Tim’s impression by commenting that the specification was exceptional.
Tim also likes the large balcony on the lounge and the separate utility room which keeps the noise of laundry away from the generous open plan living space.
But the additional extras at The Rock were a pleasant surprise: “I presumed there would be nowhere for my bike, but there is a proper secure bike storage room with places to park.”
The fantastic town centre location was also a bonus: “It was completely different to anything else, right in the middle of everything. The Metro is right next to you, so no paying for parking in Manchester, the motorway is also easily reached and Costa Coffee is right downstairs for breakfast.”
The final temptation was the price “Compared to other places I was looking at, the price was very good” which made the choice an easy one.
