Zurich UK Life launches 2011 ISA campaign for advisers

20th January 2011 Print

Zurich UK Life has launched a campaign to help advisers and their clients optimise their 2010/11 ISA allowance.

Following the coalition Government's Comprehensive Spending Review in October 2010, the individual ISA allowance will increase annually in line with the Retail Prices Index (RPI) which from April 2011 amounts to an extra £480 per person.  With this in mind, Zurich UK Life is urging advisers to contact their clients and give their finances a new year health check to ensure they are geared up to utilise  their ISA allowance to the full.

The Zurich UK Life 2011 ISA campaign includes a new campaign microsite ISAsimplesteps.co.uk where advisers can access everything needed to launch a professional campaign.  The microsite offers advisers simple tips to ensure their campaign is a success including downloadable promotional material, a client brochure, letter templates, flyers and posters as well as meeting tools.  In addition, a ‘quote and apply' online option is also available for ease of completing their ISA business.

Advisers can also access ‘Shaping the ideal ISA', a factsheet to help them develop the best solution to balance customers' personal needs in light of fluctuating market conditions.  The online planning tool ‘Zurich Portfolio Planner' is also available to help advisers create, review and maintain efficient client portfolios.

Application forms have been simplified to help streamline the process for existing clients and those who wish to make lump sum investments by cheque only.

As part of the campaign, Zurich UK Life will be writing to those advisers with Sterling ISA clients who may be eligible to top up their ISA before the 6 April 2011 deadline.

Commenting on the 2011 ISA campaign launch, Mark Peters, Retail Pensions and Investment Proposition Director, Zurich UK Life said:  "Now is the optimum time for advisers to contact their clients to arrange a financial health check and this includes making sure that customers are optimising all of their financial planning options."

"Following the series of announcements made in the Comprehensive Spending Review, we want to ensure that advisers are well positioned to advise their clients on the various changes afoot as well as ensuring they help them make the most appropriate decisions to help meet their future financial needs."
