Sol Melia to re-open ex-Hilton Valencia

Sol Meliá continues to implement its growth strategy with the announcement of its sixth hotel in Valencia: the ex-Hilton Valencia.

An ultra-modern property in the tallest building in the city, the property will be rebranded the Meliá Valencia Palacio de Congresos and is scheduled to open February 21st, 2011.

The new owners of the hotel, Continental Property Investment, have decided to lease the hotel for a minimum of 10 years to Sol Meliá. The hotel has been closed since June 2010 due to problems suffered by the previous owners.
