Barratt North East has taken the wraps off three stylish showhomes on the latest phase of its popular Mandale Park development at Thornaby-on-Tees.

The showhomes are packed with up-to-the-minute colours and contemporary furnishings and offer potential buyers the opportunity to visualise the mark they could make on their own home at the development.

Homes released for sale in the new phase comprise 2, 3 and 4-bedroom designs, offering space, style and value for money. Most have parking for two cars.

They include the 2-bedroom “Washington”, one of the housebuilder’s best-selling homes for first-time buyers who appreciate its open-plan layout, two double bedrooms and 624 sq ft of living space.

There is a good-sized living room with dining area and French windows opening out into the garden, fully-fitted kitchen complete with oven, hob and hood, a downstairs cloakroom and useful store cupboard. It is priced from £107,995.

More than 300 Barratt homes are now occupied at the development. Sales adviser June Thompson, who has been based there since the start, said: “Mandale Park is in a great location and we have homes to suit all kinds of buyers

“There are schools, shops and leisure amenities nearby, plus Thornaby’s new town centre and Teesside Retail Park. It’s within a few minutes’ drive of the A19 and there are good bus services too.”

Fenton Hewitt, Sales Director at Barratt North East, said: “Since the start of the New Year our developments around the region have been extremely busy, with inquiries significantly up on this time last year and more than £4.5 million worth of sales in three weeks.

“People are realising that now could be a very good time to buy and we expect there will be a great deal of interest in these latest homes released for sale at Mandale Park.”

Prices range from £107,995 to £187,500 and the sales centre, off Thorntree Road, is open daily from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
