New Redrow homes in Bristol are 'streets ahead'

The carefully crafted homes in the New Heritage Collection are helping to set Redrow apart from its competition near Bristol.
A new wave of these highly distinctive, ‘Arts & Crafts’ influenced properties has just been released at The Bowery, part of the award winning house builder’s Cheswick ‘village’ development in Filton.
But it’s not just their traditional looking exteriors with period-style features that make this traditional collection of homes stand out from the crowd; they also boast a superior interior specification unseen in most new homes and the second hand sector.
Three new Oxford house types have just gone on sale as part of the new release and are prime examples of Redrow’s desire to bring back the skill and creativity of the individual craftsman with the New Heritage Collection. The exterior design captures the essence of traditional British home building during the revered Arts and Crafts era, including bay windows and a roofed porch. Inside there’s plenty of space for the whole family.
“There’s an emphasis on convivial open plan living spaces and fashionable kitchen designs with floor to ceiling cabinets, top brand name appliances, including totally integrated ovens, fridge-freezers and microwaves,” said Nicola Boulton, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West).
“The Oxford has a generous lounge, fabulous open-plan kitchen and dining room with patio doors onto the rear garden, an adjoining utility room and beyond that a convenient downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs you’ll find a large master bedroom with en-suite, three further good sized bedrooms and a family bathroom.
“We also include fitted wardrobes to some rooms, outside lights and under lighting to kitchen units as part of our standard specification. Bathrooms are sleek, modern and pleasing to the eye, with a tile range that is unique to Redrow. It’s fair to say this top-notch specification is unrivalled among most of our peers – and customers have been amazed at how much is included as standard.
“Also, compare this with an older second hand property which might need expensive repairs and renovations. With a brand new Redrow home it’s all included.”
There are five fully furnished show homes open at The Bowery, so buyers can see Redrow’s New Heritage Collection in all its glory.
Redrow is creating a vibrant village environment at Cheswick made up of a number of smaller ‘hamlets’, including The Bowery. Once complete, Cheswick will boast shops, places to eat and all the local amenities of an established residential neighbourhood.
Two to six bedroom homes at The Bowery are currently priced from £160,000 to £440,995. The ‘Oxford’ is priced from £319,995. Some homes are ready to move into and selected plots are currently include carpets and turfed gardens.
