HD isn't just for TVs - window blinds have also gone High Definition with the launch of stunning new fabrics from Apollo Blinds.

Apollo Blinds, with stores throughout the UK, is leading the UK blind market with a new range of High Definition (HD) roller blind fabrics, which utilise the latest, innovative technology.

The new HD blinds from Apollo deliver a much sharper and vibrant finish by increasing the intensity of colour and detail of the fabric pattern. They are specially woven on a high definition machine, which can achieve an increased image pixilation (than none-HD weaving technologies).

There are currently 19 fabrics available in the range, most of which are Jacquard-weaves - the weave used for decorative patterns, like Damask and Brocade. Previously, these fabrics were only available in white, creams and pastel shades but now come in a variety of colours.

Gary Chambers, general manager at Apollo Blinds, said: "Like the new HD TVs, video games and computers, HD manufactured fabrics deliver a more intense viewing experience by providing greater definition of colour and pattern. It is therefore perfect for intricate fabrics and large decorative designs.

"With this new technology we are also able to use coloured warp and weft in Jacquard weaves, which is a big step forward as these have only been available in white until now. This technology is great news for the industry and for our customers."

Prices start from £64 for a 600mm by 600mm blind in African (attached). For stockist details and more information about Apollo's High Definition blinds visit apollo-blinds.co.uk.
