City Cruises enters its summer season in April 2011 with a new timetable and prices.

The sightseeing service operates between the four major destination piers on the River Thames (Westminster, London Eye, Tower and Greenwich) and each one is on the doorstep of many popular sights and leading attractions.

From the 18th April 2011 the frequency of the service will increase with cruises operating every 30 minutes, offering passengers more choice. The service will also start earlier and finish later in the day.

The London Showboat, an unforgettable evening of top quality entertainment and superb food will operate from the 1st April 2011 Thursday through to Sunday. Boarding is at Westminster Pier at 19:15, returning at 23.00.

Prices for the sightseeing service will change from the 1st April 2011 with a River Red Rover ticket, which offers unlimited travel throughout the day, on all the company's sightseeing boats, costing £13.50 per adult and £6.75 per child (5 to 16 years of age). A family River Red Rover, which allows travel for two adults and up to 3 children, will be £33.50 and for an extra £5 families can also enjoy the freedom of the Docklands Light Railway on the same day.

The price for the London Showboat will remain at £75 per person, which includes a welcome drink, four- course dinner, half a bottle of wine, the river trip, live singer and dancing.
