20% savings on Stratford narrowboat holidays

29th March 2011 Print

A new base at Stratford upon Avon - ideal for exploring Shakespeare country, plus Warwickshire and Avon – has been introduced by specialist boating holiday agency, Waterways Holidays.

To celebrate this latest addition to the portfolio, the company is offering a fantastic 20% saving on all 2011 boating holidays – short breaks and week-long stays - from Stratford upon Avon for bookings made before 10 April.

This means, for example, that a week’s hire of the 56ft Farndale Valley narrowboat now costs from just £848 (saving £212) in April and May.

Or, the revised price of a three-night weekend or four-night midweek break aboard Blythe Valley – a 60ft narrowboat – is from £583 (saving £145) at this time.

Both boats sleep six and are fully equipped and centrally heated and prices also include all fuels, bedlinen, car parking, life jackets and tuition on arrival.

Cruising options – all through beautiful countryside - from this base include a route along the river through the Vale of Evesham and Pershore towards Tewkesbury or along the rural Stratford upon Avon Canal towards either Warwick or Birmingham.

waterwaysholidays.com offers live availability on more than 1500 narrowboats, cruisers and sailing yachts operated by the UK’s leading boat operators and with more than 50 different start locations.  The website also offers lots of advice on boating holidays as well as featuring listings of the latest special offers.
