Doors opening to new show homes in Rubery

People in the Bromsgrove area will be able to enjoy their first look inside Redrow’s New Heritage Collection during the Easter weekend.

The first phase of homes at Great Park in Rubery go on sale Saturday (April 23) and to showcase the designs, Redrow has enlisted a team of professional interior designers who have expertly styled two examples of the properties available.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), commented: “Customer feedback tells us that being able to view a show home is an important part of the home buying process, with some people saying they are unable to picture a property without one. A visit to the four-bedroom ‘Salisbury’ and ‘Oxford’ show homes will enable potential purchasers to appreciate the layout of the properties and the quality finish of the designs, as well as giving them a real feel of what they would be like as lived in homes.”

Designed in response to customer feedback, Redrow’s New Heritage Collection homes look traditional from the outside but are bright and modern inside with interiors styled to meet the demands of 21st century family living.

Redrow has calculated that it could cost up to £30,000 to bring an older three-bedroom property up to the same high standard as one of its new homes, which means that buying a brand new home could save time and money.

“Buying a second hand property and renovating it yourself may sound appealing, but there’s lots of hard work and expense involved with little, if any, return for the time and money you invest. The cost of installing a new kitchen, appliances and bathrooms plus energy efficient heating, replacement windows and a whole host of other features soon adds up. By purchasing a new home instead of an older second hand property, house hunters could save themselves a small fortune in DIY costs, not to mention time and energy,” Pauline explained.
