Bristol gears up for city centre motor show

Bristol’s city centre streets will be transformed into a unique ‘showroom’ from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 May, as the Bristol Motor Show brings some of the UK’s best known car dealers to the heart of the weekend.
The whole city centre shopping area including Cabot Circus and The Galleries will join forces to showcase some of the latest and most desired car models on the market following the success of the Motor Show over the last two years. The event will see Bristol’s city centre shopping area provide the stage for a free, three day spectacular which is set to wow motor enthusiasts across the city and further afield.
Bristol Motor Show 2011 is run in partnership with the Bristol Evening Post and brings together a wide selection of local car dealers including Suzuki, Land Rover and Saab. A great variety of cars from some of the industry’s top dealers will be on display outside Bristol’s retail outlets, combining two great British passions – shopping and cars. In addition, visitors to The Galleries will be treated to a giant scalectrix and the chance to meet The Stig’s look-a-like. A roller skating F1 team will perform four times during the day and there will also be a full size F1 simulator car on display.

The event has proven to be extremely popular with motorists and their families over the past two years and we look forward to welcoming even more people to the city centre shopping area this year. ”

Confirmed dealers taking part in the Bristol Motor Show are: Nissan, Kia, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, VW, Suzuki, Land Rover and Saab.
