Mondial UK opens up Warrington based training centre for manufacturers

Mondial UK, the leading provider of bespoke roadside assistance services has opened its Technical Services Training Centre to provide motor manufacturers with a dedicated training resource. The Warrington based training centre provides the ideal venue for manufacturers to host training, recruitment selection and induction days as well as providing the perfect location for workshop and seminar activities with excellent links to both Liverpool and Manchester airports.

The Warrington Training Centre has the capacity to accommodate 65 people in a non technical training environment, or up to 24 technicians in a training setting, providing manufacturers with an adaptable location that can be tailored for their individual needs.

Opened in October 2005, the Centre supports Mondial’s expanding network of roadside assistance technicians and has been used as a training site for existing technicians as well as induction days for new recruits. A number of leading manufacturers, including Mercedes, Mazda and Kia, have also been using the facilities for their own training days and after sales meetings.

“Manufacturers are able to take full advantage of the self contained Centre, branding it to their own marque for dedicated brand or model activities” confirmed Simon Cook, General Manager, Automotive, Mondial UK. “This enhances the branded services we already offer in the automotive sector, providing manufacturers with purpose-built facilities for their own training requirements.”

One organisation that recently used the facilities is Kia, which hosted a new model launch technical training programme. “Mondial’s Warrington Training Centre provided us with the tailor-made facility to deliver a dedicated training session”, confirmed Ian Goswell, Dealer Training Manager, Kia. “The location, facilities and Mondial’s understanding of the Kia brand all served to provide us with a highly effective day.”
