‘Throw a pot’ with Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire

21st April 2011 Print

Take a turn on a potter’s wheel – or enjoy modelling in clay by hand – is the offer to those enjoying a holiday at Potter’s Cottage this summer with Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire.

The cottage, a recent addition to the company’s portfolio, is tucked away in the grounds of Wolfscastle Pottery where the proprietor is more than happy for guests at the cottage – at quiet periods - to try their hand at creating a ‘masterpiece’.  There is no charge for this service other than a nominal sum of £5 for subsequent firing of any successful pieces.

The owner can also arrange fishing rights on a trout stream which is situated just 50 yards from the cottage.

This stylish property, which sleeps seven, is located just outside the village of Wolfscastle and is ideally placed to explore the many attractions of the country including the beaches at St Brides Bay and Newgale, which are just a 15-minute drive away, and the bustling market town of Haverfordwest. There’s also excellent ‘on the doorstep’ hill and country walking.

A seven-night holiday in Potter’s Cottage costs, for example, £406 in mid May, increasing to £785 in peak season.
