Citroen triumphs with innovative guaranteed part exchange offer
Following the success of Citroen’s new guaranteed part exchange offer, which has seen hundreds of drivers trade in their old cars, including a Triumph Herald, an MGB and a Ford Granada, the Company has chosen to extend the offer throughout July. The owner of the Triumph Herald, just one of some 700 drivers to take advantage of Citroen’s unique deal, traded in their 35 year old car for a C1 Diesel, to become one of the rapidly growing number of diesel drivers. Latest figures show that diesel sales have risen in every quarter for almost six years and took nearly 40% of new car sales in June.
With the C1 1.4HDi capable of achieving almost 70mpg on the combined cycle, the new owners can expect to be able to cover probably three times the distance for each gallon of fuel, whilst its class-leading CO2 figure contributes to the C1 producing less than 1/30th the level of harmful emissions of the old Triumph.
As well as helping ensure that older models are replaced by the latest low polluting, fuel efficient Citroens, with all the resultant benefits for the environment, this scheme gives buyers all the advantages of owning and driving a modern, safe and well-equipped new car.
This part exchange scheme guarantees customers buying most C1, C2, C3 or Xsara Picasso models either £800 or £1000 for their old car, and is in addition to Citroen’s traditional range of great cashback offers and finance deals.
