St Vincent:

St Vincent is a volcanic island in the Caribbean. It is the largest island in the chain called St Vincent & The Grenadines and is located in the Caribbean Sea, between St. Lucia and Grenada.  The island is composed of partially submerged volcanic mountains. Located 90 miles west of Barbados, this enchanting paradise island is an unspoilt tropical haven with secluded coves with high mountains, covered in lush tropical vegetation and stunning waterfalls.  In the north of St Vincent, you can find La Soufrière, which is still an active volcano and the Falls of Baleine, both of which can be reached by boat, or by trekking through the rain forest.  On the west coast you will find Wallilabou Bay, made famous as it was used as a location in "The Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Black Pearl" and the sequel "Dead Man's Chest".  The colourful St Vincent parrot lives inland and you could be lucky enough to see this rare bird on the Vermont Nature Trail.

Thomson Tailormade offers 7 nights at the brand new 5 star Buccament Bay Resort, St Vincent from £1,495 per person, saving £783 per person.  The price includes accommodation on an all inclusive basis, return international flights from London Gatwick with Virgin Atlantic, return flight from Barbados to St Vincent and transfers and is based on a family of four departing on 8th September 2011.
