Rome Wine Festival 2011

The Rome wine festival takes place on the 7th and 8th of May, 2011 at the Citta del Gusto.

The Roma wine festival is a professional event open to the general public and offers an excellent opportunity to broaden ones knowledge of Italian wine.

The Roma region has some very special wines including Est di Montefiascone  and Frascati. Frascati is a delicious white wine which is wonderful when served cooled with aperitifs. Both are founded on Malvasia and Trebbiano grapes and come in sweet and dry versions.

Frascati, know to the Roman’s as the golden wine, has been produced in the area for over two thousand years, safe to say it has passed the test of time!
