While the 29th April became a red letter day in the nation’s diary, courtesy of a certain Royal celebration, the previous day saw movers and shakers from the world of property converge to celebrate the launch of an exciting new address of apartments in Ascot.

Award-winning developer, Millgate Homes, invited the great and the good of the industry to its new flagship development, Brockenhurst House, on Thursday 28th April to see for themselves a development set to raise the bar in apartment living.

Over 60 guests including architects, planners, solicitors, estate agents, marketing agencies, trade suppliers, design engineers and consultants visited throughout the day to admire the scheme of fourteen 2 and 3 bedroom apartments which, offering between 1,200 – 2000 square feet of accommodation, caused quite a reaction - as Millgate Homes’ Managing Director, David Simpson, explains:

“We’ve really pushed the boundaries at Brockenhurst House and are truly proud of what we’ve achieved. The reaction to these apartments in Ascot, from the general public, has been fantastic and we were keen to showcase our achievements to those in the industry. We were delighted with the turnout, especially as the majority of attendees were totally independent of the project, and the feedback was fantastic – everyone was blown away on arrival by the foyer, which was described as a “5 star boutique hotel”, while the flexibility of the rooftop gardens and the quality of the interior design schemes in the Show Homes also attracted many admiring comments.”

Among the guests were Evening Standard New Homes Award judge Michael Gallagher, senior partners of Pitmans Solicitors including Christopher Avery, Richard Laugharne and fellow senior partners of GCL solicitors, alongside representatives from the area’s leading estate agents; among them Savills, Knight Frank, Romans, Edwards and Elliot, Barton Wyatt, Hamptons, Strutt & Parker and Davis Tate.
