Stay green health check with Citroen

Citroen – the two-times GreenFleet Car Manufacturer of the Year – is now offering its customers a great value ‘Stay Green’ health check as part of its continued drive to minimise the environmental impact of its vehicles.

For a VAT inclusive recommended retail price of just £29.99, Citroen’s fully-trained technicians will perform a series of tests aimed squarely at keeping emission levels and fuel consumption to a minimum. Owners of all types of Citroen cars and vans, regardless of age, also benefit from advice on how to reduce the impact of their vehicle on the environment.

Diagnostic checks on the fuel and engine management systems will ensure that
the fuel mix is at the correct level and that emission levels are at a minimum. The braking system will also be tested to make sure that fuel is not unnecessarily wasted whilst driving.

In addition, technicians will conduct a 22-point health check that includes the condition of the tyres, engine, gearbox and battery, offering further peace of mind both in terms of environmental impact and vehicle reliability and safety.

Participating dealers will provide customers with valuable advice on how to improve fuel consumption and reduce emissions, for example, running on correct tyre pressures, removing any unnecessary loads and removing roof racks that may have been left in situ longer than required.

Citroen is offering its ‘Stay Green’ check on a While-You-Wait basis, although it is recommended that bookings are made in advance.
