Citroen sent to leading Coventry hire firm

Leading hire firm Eurodrive Vehicle Rental is taking delivery of an order of 20 Citroen vehicles, including its first Citroen passenger cars. Eurodrive Vehicle Rental has acquired C-Crosser luxury 4x4s and C4 hatchbacks, as well as Berlingo and Relay vans at its Coventry location.

Eurodrive Vehicle Rental director, Anita Osman, said that the new Citroen vehicles would allow the company to offer a wider vehicle choice for customers and strengthen its portfolio in key areas. She added that the company chose Citroen because of, “The overall driver-appeal of all the Citroen vehicles, the wide choice of different models and their low cost of operation. As such, Citroen satisfied our financial and operational requirements across a wide variety of different vehicle sectors.”

The vehicles were all supplied through Citroen Coventry, the company’s recently opened and largest flagship dealership in the UK. Eurodrive Vehicle Rentals is operating its new Citroen cars and vans on Citroen Contract Motoring 12-month, 20,000 miles, non-maintenance contract hire agreements.

Since the company was set up in 1993, Eurodrive Vehicle Rental has grown to become a leading vehicle rental specialist, with 200 cars, 200 vans and franchise locations throughout the UK and Eire. In the UK it already operates a fleet of over two dozen Berlingo vans and most locations already have at least one or two such vehicles.

The company is now embarking on stages of an international expansion programme with the opening of a branch in Dubai.
