Citroen’s credit crunch cure

25th April 2008 Print
As the credit crunch tightens its grip, French manufacturer, Citroen, says it has extended its 0%* finance offers to cover over half of its models.

In response to customer demand, Citroen now offers this 0% on most of its 150 strong range, which includes everything from the C1 city car to the C-Crosser SUV and C8 MPV, with 0% finance over 3 or 4 years.

As an indication of its popularity, some 70% of Citroen’s award winning C4 Picasso models have been sold with 0% finance since its launch and this trend continues with the brand new executive C5 which went on sale at the start of April.

Customers could make a saving of £2,628.32 by taking advantage of Citroen’s 0% deal on a brand new Grand C4 Picasso 1.6HDi VTR+ compared to a typical 13.1%APR loan from a high street bank.

Additionally 45% more customers have chosen to use Citroen’s Elect 3 scheme this year. With over 100 models available, this purchase option makes it possible for the customer to drive away a brand new car from as little as £119.00 a month.

Xavier Duchemin, Citroen UK’s Managing Director says “With pressure growing on obtaining finance, Citroen’s offers provide consumers with an accessible and affordable way to purchase a new car.”
