Premiership giant signs up GM car fleet
Company cars from Saab and Vauxhall have proved to be the perfect striking partnership for Premiership giant, Arsenal FC, which has signed a two-year fleet deal for selected models for senior managers and backroom staff.The winning combination includes a number of Saab 9-3 models for senior staff, while other models in the two year/36,000 leasing contract for a total of 38 vehicles include Vauxhall Astra SRi 1.9 CDTI and Club 1.7 CDTi models, as well as Zafira SRi 1.9 CDTi models.
There are also a number of Vauxhall light commercial vehicles, including a 17-seat Movano 2.5 CDTi minibus for taking Arsenal’s Academy players to and from the Arsenal training ground and a number of Vauxhall Zafiras supporting the Club’s community activities throughout the UK.
Adrian Ford, commercial director at Arsenal, said: “We felt that with the opening of our new Emirates stadium we needed a new fleet of vehicles to meet our mobility needs, and Saab and Vauxhall fitted the bill perfectly. They were able to provide us with the right balance of cars and vans to suit our purposes at competitive leasing rates.”
