Ryhurst commended at Redcar & Cleveland Design Awards

The Redcar NHS Community Hospital and Primary Care Centre delivered by Ryhurst, in equity partnership with Sir Robert McAlpine, has received a local Commendation Award.
Councillor Peter Spencer, Design Champion and Member of the Planning Committee, was pleased to announce the success of its fifth Design Awards scheme. The biennial scheme is intended to give support and recognition to projects which have achieved high design standards.
Councillor Peter Spencer comments: "The Council continually tries to raise design standards across the Borough and is pleased that these eight projects have aimed at and achieved high quality solutions. Good design contributes to everyone's quality of life and helps to make places that people want to live in, work in or visit. These projects challenge other developers to think more imaginatively about their schemes and to produce projects which make the Borough a better and more attractive place to live."
The presentation was attended by Mike Southgate, RSRM (SPV) general manager; Ron Abrahams, SPV Operational and Andrew Bumfrey, associate director, Space Architects.
