Better than half price to the Greek islands

18th May 2011 Print

Corfu and Cyprus for less than half price – that’s two of Olympic Holidays’ special offers to the Greek islands this Bank Holiday, with flights from a range of regional as well as London airports.

A family of four can enjoy a week at the family-run Terezas Hotel Apartments on Corfu for £859, saving a massive £1,136 on the original price.  That’s flying from Birmingham on 30 May, and includes transfers and seven nights’ self-catering in a two-bedroom apartment.  This is a small three-star property in Sidari, with just 26 apartments surrounding the pool, set on a minor road 10 minutes’ walk from the resort’s shops and restaurants, and five minutes from the beach.

On Crete, the quietly-located Aloi Hotel & Pool is a traditional three-star hotel of 23 rooms set behind the beach in Anissaras. Fly from Belfast on 31 May and pay £259 per person – saving £163 each – for seven nights’ bed and breakfast, based on two sharing.

In contrast, on Cyprus, the Makronissos Village Club is a lively complex in a good location in Ayia Napa, where a seven-night stay on an all-inclusive basis now costs £355 per person (twin share), saving £391 per person and based on flying from Gatwick, with transfers, on 29 May.

Also on Cyprus, a week at the five-star Grand Resort in Limassol is now £499 per person, saving £325 per person.  That’s based on two sharing a standard twin room at this elegant beach-side hotel with a wide range of facilities including a Wellness Spa.  It includes return flights from Gatwick on 29 May, transfers and seven nights’ bed and breakfast.
