Affordable new homes coming soon to Rugby

The first homes at a brand new development in Long Lawford are nearing completion with a launch event planned for early July.

The Paddocks, built by Orbit Homes, is located off Tee Tong Road in Long Lawford and will include 27 two and three bed homes for sale under the HomeBuy Shared Ownership scheme.

HomeBuy Shared Ownership is designed for those who cannot buy a home on the open market without assistance and allows you to purchase a share in a property whilst paying a subsidised rent on the part you don’t own. The share purchased is tailored to suit you and is determined based upon your income and savings meaning that you buy a share that you can afford and take out a smaller mortgage than you would if you bought your home on the open market.

Despite popular belief HomeBuy Shared Ownership isn’t exclusively for first time buyers. If you are someone returning to market following, for instance, a relationship breakdown or even a current homeowner struggling to find a home that suits your needs on the open market, in some circumstances you may be eligible.
