Stylish, affordable new homes for Shipston on Stour
Aspiring buyers will soon have a rare opportunity to purchase a beautiful, yet affordable home close to Warwickshire countryside as Orbit Homes prepares to launch Church View, a stunning collection of new homes in Shipston on Stour, later this summer.
The Church View development fuses modern and stylish homes with an historic location. The development, located off Tileman’s Lane, will see the refurbishment of the Grade II Listed Shipston House and the addition of 45 new homes as well as a public open space.
A number of two, three and four bedroom homes will be available under the HomeBuy Shared Ownership scheme. HomeBuy Shared Ownership is a government funded initiative which provides an affordable route into home ownership; you buy a share in a new home that you can afford and pay a subsidised rent on the part that you don’t own. In the future, if you wish, you can buy further shares until you own your home outright.
"Stratford upon Avon is one of the most unaffordable areas in the whole of the Warwickshire, and the delivery of these homes will benefit Shipston by providing affordable homes to the community" said Diane Webster, Sales & Marketing Manager at Orbit Homes.
"We are delighted to be gearing up for the launch of Church View which will take place in early August’ Priority for the new homes at Church View will be given to applicants who have a local connection to Shipston on Stour via employment, residence or family. In the first instance, homes will be allocated to those nominated via Stratford District Council’s Homechoice Plus lettings system."
